Scott Ormerod- Intro

Bio:

Scott launched Leap Solutions in 1998 to share and inspire creative, innovative business solutions based on organizational values, vision and mission. With more than 35 years of experience in people management, coaching, organizational development and human resources, Scott incorporates individualism, diversity and growth into organizations’ employee, staff, and management development programs. His vast background includes facilities management, risk management, administration, finance, nonprofits and higher education. Scott also teaches human resources and management courses as an adjunct faculty member for Pacific Union College and University of San Francisco.

Committed to his motto that “it takes a whole community to make a community whole,” Scott is passionate about volunteering. He devotes the bulk of his nonprofit service to children’s causes, including wish-granting for Make-A-Wish Foundation; providing permanent, stable housing for foster children; and developing leadership in junior-year high school students. On May 16, 2001, His Holiness the Dalai Lama honored Scott—as one of only fifty individuals in the world—for his community service, particularly with Make-A-Wish Foundation. Scott earned his masters of business administration in management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

Tracy Emmerich

Bio:

Tracy has a passion for people and works tirelessly to achieve the win-win for both organization and employee. After working with Leap Solutions from 2009 through 2011, she happily returned in 2019 with more than thirty years in progressive human resources and extensive experience in employee and labor relations, workforce planning, change management, regulatory compliance, recruitment, payroll and HRIS, safety management, training and development, investigations, and policy and procedure design. Tracy has worked in organizations large and small, including Waste Management, Inc., and RITZ Foodservice, as well as in nonprofits, including Goodwill of the Redwood Empire, where she oversaw Human Resources, Safety, Loss Prevention and Facility Maintenance as Director of Administrative Services.

Tracy holds a bachelor of science in business management from University of Phoenix and a Certificate in Human Resources from Sonoma State University. She has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since 2005. Tracy has served on numerous boards, including The Children’s Village of Sonoma County, PASCO HR and the Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce, and she is a graduate of Leadership Rohnert Park. In her free time Tracy enjoys spending time with her family, watching her grandkids, traveling and hiking.

Jonna Dye

Bio:

Jonna Dye’s successful work with leaders in multiple industries over the last two decades is fueled by her passion for business. Leap Solutions’ clients will now benefit from that passion and experience as she joins the Leap Solutions team.

She works with business leaders on strategic planning and goal attainment, making their visions real by creating specific action plans that navigate businesses through periods of high growth. She’s held senior management and executive positions with well-known Santa Rosa organizations, including Eodia, Keysight Technologies, La Tortilla Factory, and FlashCo.

The North Bay Business Journal recognized her success with the 2012 Women in Business Award for her extraordinary commitment as a leader, innovator, and visionary. Additionally, she has taught human resources and business management as an adjunct faculty member for Pacific Union College.

She serves the community at large through Social Advocates for Youth (past board vice president), Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation, and local church finance committee.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Pacific Union College, and a Master of Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. Jonna and her family make their home in beautiful Santa Rosa, California.
